The satisfaction may lie in making a situation easier rather than in being noticed. Ask which detail has a real effect and which is merely available to criticize.

Usefulness also has a recipient. An improvement that you value may not be what another person needs. Before rearranging their plan, ask what would help. A careful observation becomes more constructive when it is paired with permission and an understanding of the actual problem.
