Put the work where feedback can reach it
Creative effort often reaches a point when private preparation needs an audience: a rehearsal, a draft shared with a colleague or a small public demonstration. Leo symbolism offers a way to examine that transition. Being seen can expose useful information about the work without making approval the only reason to continue.

Follow the Sun without merging its role with Mars
The Sun rules Leo and is Mars's traditional dispositor here. Read its actual sign, house and aspects alongside Mars's own condition. Leo is neither a domicile nor exaltation, detriment or fall of Mars by sign alone. Solar rulership does not turn Mars into the Sun or imply that the two bodies form an aspect.

Mars in Leo: a historical sky example
On 2023-06-04 at 12:00 UTC, the tropical geocentric Mars was at 8°34′ Leo (128.564599° zodiac longitude). This is a historical sky calculation using Skyfield 1.55 and JPL DE440, not a personal birth chart or a record of someone’s behavior.
Leo spans 120° up to, but not including, 150° in the tropical zodiac. Subtracting 120° from this longitude gives 8.564599° within Leo. At this sample Mars was direct, with longitude changing at 0.582555° per day. A daily sample does not identify an exact sign-entry or station time.
To reproduce it, open Daily ephemeris and select 2023-06. In Calculation settings, set the time zone to UTC, daily time to 12:00 and zodiac to Tropical, then read Mars on 2023-06-04. These controls must be set manually; the link does not change your saved preferences. The calculation checks the placement, not the symbolic interpretation.

Does Mars in Leo mean I need to be the center of attention?
No. Visibility is an interpretive theme, not an established need. The useful question is when making your work visible serves its purpose and when private practice, shared credit or listening would help more.
How is Mars in Leo different from Venus in Leo?
Mars frames action and assertion; Venus frames affinity, enjoyment and preference. The same sign vocabulary can be used for different questions. Neither placement tells you the other planet's sign or guarantees a particular relationship style.
