Beginning is a choice; completion needs an agreement

An Aries Sun reading can focus on the moment an intention becomes an action. You volunteer, make the first draft or say what you want before the group has reached a decision. That can give an unclear project somewhere to start. It can also skip a conversation about who will finish the work.

For a concrete reflection, choose a project you recently started. Name the first step you owned, the next step someone else needed, and the point when you checked whether the original aim still made sense. Compare those facts with the symbolism instead of treating a sign as proof of leadership.

Directness can include room for a reply

Try separating an intention from an instruction: ‘I want to begin this week’ leaves more room for negotiation than ‘We are starting now.’ An independent decision and a shared decision have different requirements. Notice which kind you are actually making before using decisiveness as your measure of success.

Exaltation describes a traditional condition

The Sun is traditionally exalted in Aries, while Mars rules the sign and is its dispositor. Exaltation is a technical category in that tradition, not a ranking of people's worth. Inspect Mars, the Sun's house and its actual aspects before developing a fuller reading. Being in a Mars-ruled sign does not itself form an aspect to Mars.
