A good group question creates a next decision

A contact can offer useful information without being a close friend, and a popular claim can still be wrong. Check a source's relevance and actual evidence rather than relying on the size of its audience.
The eleventh house is not automatically Aquarius or an automatic connection to Uranus. Mercury retains its own sign, motion and aspects in the seven-body natal calculation. Its house requires the birth time, location and chosen division; keep those settings when comparing an interpretation or another tool's result.

Synthetic chart example: Mercury in the 11th house
Use the invented chart input 2001-02-03 at 09:50 UTC in Greenwich, UK (51.4779° N, 0° E), with the Tropical zodiac and Alcabitius houses. No real person or life story is attached to this example. The coordinates were actually calculated with Skyfield 1.55 and JPL DE440; they are geocentric positions for this specified moment.
The calculation places Mercury at 0°39′ Pisces (330.653339° zodiac longitude) in House 11. Its Alcabitius interval starts at 12°55′ Aquarius (312.920724°) and ends at the House 12 cusp, 18°43′ Pisces (348.721011°). The unrounded longitude lies inside that interval and is 17.733° from the nearer boundary. Rounded display labels do not decide the house.
Keep the same time, coordinates and zodiac, then change only the house system: Whole sign places Mercury in House 12; Equal house places it in House 11. The planet's longitude stays the same in all three calculations. This comparison shows why a house number must retain its house-system label. The true Ascendant is 25°45′ Aries, and the true Midheaven is 10°15′ Capricorn; those angles remain distinct from a system's numbered cusps.

Does Mercury in the eleventh house make someone good at networking?
A house placement cannot establish that skill. Look at actual exchanges: whether information is relevant, introductions are appropriate and commitments are kept. Useful participation can happen in a small group without a broad network.
Can this placement tell me which friends to trust?
No. Trust depends on conduct, context and clear expectations. The chart cannot verify another person's honesty or intentions. Use appropriate evidence and boundaries rather than assigning reliability from a symbolic house topic.
