What these two chart factors connect
Venus asks what feels worthwhile or mutually agreeable; Mars asks how a person acts when a choice needs energy. The square can make a useful question of timing and consent: does the method of pursuit respect the preference being expressed?
This is one person's natal aspect. Check Venus's and Mars's signs and houses separately before combining their symbolism. A sign pair alone does not establish an aspect, and the same two planets can raise different life questions in different houses.
Check the measured relationship
The exact square angle is 90°. Sky Degrees compares the two actual longitudes using their shortest distance around the zodiac, then reports the deviation as orb. This pair appears only when that orb is within the sum of the selected planetary half-orbs.
Changing orb settings can add or remove a displayed aspect without moving either planet. Applying or separating is an estimate from stored speeds, not an exact event-time prediction. Read the calculation source and birth instant beside your own result.

Think of one recent invitation or negotiation. What did you say you valued, how did you act, and what could be made more explicit next time?

The fixed teaching chart at 2000-01-01T12:00:00+00:00 lists Venus at 1°34′ Sagittarius (241.565794°) and Mars at 27°58′ Aquarius (327.963306°). Its square has an orb of 3.602° against an allowed 7.5° in the sample's stored settings.
This preserved example carries its original Swiss Ephemeris 2.10.03 source; it is not a new Skyfield calculation or a real person's biography. New personal calculations use the site's Skyfield/JPL service. The measured angle verifies geometry, not the symbolic interpretation.

No. Measure the two longitudes and compare the deviation with the configured allowed orb. A sign pair is only a rough clue.
Is this a synastry or transit reading?
No. Both bodies are from one natal chart at one recorded birth instant. Comparing two people or searching future event times requires a different calculation.
